Even though we are incredibly small, we can know God.
The ocean is made up of drops of water.
So too, you and I, have the entire creation in our hearts.
We are tiny, tiny, little things. So unimportant, and yet, so very important.
Every soul is precious in the sight of the Lord.
He has great attention to detail.
He loves his entire creation.
In fact, he is love, and he pours his heart into his creation. He literally fills his creation with his love.
We are loved. So very much.
It’s a love that knows no limits. As there literally can be no limits to God.
He is unlimited.
It’s interesting to think of God this way.
He has no limits.
We will never fathom the deepest depths of our God.
He is from everlasting to everlasting.
In comparison, we are so very tiny, and seemingly finite, but we too, are infinite in depth.
We are grand creations of a holy, good, ever so good, creator.
Our God has placed eternity in our hearts.
How then, can we know this holy God?
The best way is through stillness.
Set aside time every day for stillness. Meditation, if you will.
Turn off the music. Turn off the phone.
Just sit. In silence.
Go beyond your thoughts.
Deeper.
We have to move past the endless mind stream, regardless of what are thoughts are telling us, good or bad.
We are not our thoughts. We go way beyond thinking.
Like our God, our depths are fathomless.
Instead of searching for things to make us happy on the outside, get to know yourself. There lies to the true blessing.
Forget about luxuries and the trappings of wealth.
True wealth is to know yourself and your Creator. Then you are truly wealthy. That is wealth worth seeking.
When you are aware of who you are, and how fearfully and wonderfully you have been made, you will have reached the true blessing.
Peace that passes all understanding will dwell within you. And no one, can take your peace. Nothing.
And don’t forget about joy, and bliss. These both come along as well. People will think to themselves, what is going on with that person.
